Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the RALM Network. By accessing or using our services and products, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (T&Cs). If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

These T&Cs apply to all websites under the RALM Network, including RALM Tech (ralm.tech), RALM Cloud (cloud.ralm.tech), RALM Web (web.ralm.tech), and RALM Shop (shop.ralm.tech).

1. Definitions

1.1 “RALM Network” refers to all entities, platforms, and subsites operated under RALM Tech, including RALM Cloud, RALM Web, and RALM Shop. 1.2 “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the services or products provided by the RALM Network. 1.3 “Products” include IT hardware, software, appliances, DIY tools, stationery, and branded merchandise. 1.4 “Services” include managed IT services, web hosting, development, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and all other offerings described on the RALM Network.

2. Use of Services

2.1 Users must be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent to use our services. 2.2 Users agree to use the services only for lawful purposes and comply with applicable local, national, and international laws. 2.3 Abuse, misuse, or unauthorized access to services or resources will result in immediate termination and may incur penalties under South African and international law.

3. Subscription Services

3.1 Billing:

  • Subscriptions are prepaid at the start of each term (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or annual).
  • Renewal invoices are issued 7-45 days before the renewal date. 3.2 Suspension and Termination:
  • Unpaid subscriptions are suspended on the last day of the term and terminated within 3-7 days after suspension.
  • Reconnection, late, and administrative fees apply for reinstating services. 3.3 Refunds: Refunds are not available for subscriptions unless explicitly stated.

4. Products

4.1 Returns:

  • Returns for unwanted items must be initiated within 7 days of receipt.
  • Products must be in their original condition, packaging intact, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • Negligence, breakage, tampering, or use waives return eligibility. 4.2 Exemptions:
  • Software, consumables, downloadable products, and subscriptions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. 4.3 Defective Products: RALM covers return costs for defective products. Customers bear shipping costs for returns due to other reasons. 4.4 OEM Warranties: Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranties apply where specified.

5. Service Levels & Uptime

5.1 RALM will make reasonable efforts to ensure high service uptime and performance. Specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) apply to managed IT services, as outlined in individual contracts. 5.2 RALM is not liable for outages caused by third-party providers, maintenance, or force majeure events.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the RALM Network are owned by RALM or its suppliers. 6.2 Users may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any content unless explicitly authorized. 6.3 Downloadable products are licensed per seat, user, or device unless otherwise stated.

7. Privacy & Data Use

7.1 RALM respects user privacy and complies with applicable laws, including POPIA and GDPR. Details are in the Privacy Policy. 7.2 Users consent to the use of cookies for analytics and advertising purposes within the RALM Network.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 RALM is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products or services. 8.2 RALM’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the specific product or service in dispute.

9. Modification of Terms

9.1 RALM reserves the right to update these T&Cs at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the relevant websites. 9.2 Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
